Electronics Art has revealed the release window for Star Wars: Battlefront.
According to a posting on the publisher’s official Twitter account the new game, developed by DICE, will be coming to stores for “Holiday 2015.”
“May the Force be with you,” Tweeted the company. “Star Wars Battlefront will release for Holiday 2015.”
This news accompanied the recent reveal that Battlefield: Hardline will release in the first quarter of 2015 with the North American game landing on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on March 17th and the European game following two days later. Speaking in an earnings call, EA representatives further affirmed that another Battlefield game is in the works for Holiday 2016.
Thankfully, eager Star Wars fans won’t have to wait until next year’s holiday season to get their first look at the new Battlefront, Electronic Arts has promised to reveal more information about the new game in Spring 2015.
